For my Giraffe Girl shoot, I want to look into animals and their posture so that I can recreate it in my own shoot. By doing this I am hoping it would make my shoot quite minimalists and strange and so will live up to its title 'Giraffe Girl'. To start off I started looking at the human body and although it has got nothing necessarily to do with the animal bodies our body can also be very strange and almost perform like an animals one.

When researching into this subject I came across a photographer named Solve Sundsbo who looked into the human body and what it is capable of in a hauting manor. This body of work is named 'The Contortionist' and is based on the physical intelligence of the body which is portrayed through the twisted body language.

Looking at these images and the positions the model has been places in, I do feel as if she is more animal than human as it is unnatural to see a photograph, especially a fashion image, where a woman is bent and twisted like a doll. I do feel the combination of the pale skin and minamilistic colouring of the photograph gives the image a psychological and animalistic feel, this is the aspects that I want to recreate in my own way in my own image.
